S2B 300
S2B 300, a novel, multifunctional smart gas detector,
offers its users various means of use in many ways.
The Smart Safety Ball S2B 300, a first-time-ever ball-shaped
composite gas detector, which has been developed through the
research collaboration with POSCO. It was created light and small.
Using the smartphone app, users can check the real-time
gas density and quickly respond to and prevent the spread of
any accidents/dangerous situations in case of emergencies.
With the application of our ultra
low power technology, the detector will
never stop working for the next 18,000 hours
(2 years) without any charging or
battery changes.
With the BLE 5.0 module loaded,
the detector offers an extended capability
where it sends the data even to direct and
indirect users located in a farther distance.
Connecting through the smartphone app,
in case of emergencies, users can share the
real-time details about the current situation
with their colleagues and the monitoring
center to quickly respond to any accidents
there may be.
There is a unique practicality to this particular
light-weight, small-size detector, specially designed
in the shape of a ball, that no other detectors have.
Before their entry into an airtight space, users,
depending on the environment they are in, can
check the gas density in the room ahead of time
by rolling the detector into the space or attaching
a thread onto the detector to grab it back afterwards
before putting it into the space.
The detector can also be used safely in places with water,
as it floats as well. The detector is even more convenient
and safer in that users can temporarily fixate the detector
in any dangerous areas surrounding them with the
magnet attached on the exterior of the detector.
Keeping the convenience for users as
the No. 1 priority, the detector can be used
for the full period of usage without changing
the battery or the sensor.
It is economically even more rewarding to
know that, even after the period of usage
has passed, users may continue to use the
detector upon switching the sensor
and the battery, if needed.

It displays oxygen and hazardous gas
concentrations from G-Tag in real-time.

In dangerous situations, the detector, through
its linkage to the smartphone app, visually
alarms users, and at the same time, provides
additional warnings through sounds and vibrations.
This way, the detector, under any circumstances,
would increase the rate of its users realizing about
the dangerous situation they are in.

By automatically sending alert messages
to the designated colleagues or workers,
the user’s condition, such as gas concentration,
user, and location of the user, can be shared
in real-time with others.

With regards to any accidents that already occurred in
the past, the warning details are automatically saved
and are available for viewing at any time. Users may
review and analyze the information saved from the past
(i.e. the date and time of accidents, the places where
accidents happened, the oxygen and gas densities
recorded at the time of accidents).
By checking the S2B serial number, users would be
able to recognize of which detector device alarm sounded.

Additionally, tasks such as zero-point calbration
or span calbration can be performed through
the application, providing convenience for
advanced users.
